Burke Riding Club

Burke Riding Club put on their first rodeo on these grounds, and right from the start, the Burke Stampede was something pretty unique. Now a PRCA and WRCA-sanctioned rodeo with 5,000 people coming through town the third weekend of July, it's both a community event and a cornerstone economic driver for the area.

They engage well over 100 volunteers every year with youth activities like the junior rodeo and play nights and other events. Their programming keeps this space busy!

BRC dreams about a music fest, new events, and ways to celebrate our local culture. But they've simply outgrown the current space. With our partnership, we'll inspire the next generation to love rodeo as much as they do.

Gregory County 4-H

Spanning our beautiful county, it’s clear that 4-H is pretty important here. It's why we’re collaborating to create a world-class space for kids to learn and grow.

For nearly 100 years, 4-H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, inspiring them to use their strengths to express who they are and how to improve their communities.

Dog training, baking, jewelry making, painting, and livestock: Their programming shows the incredible breadth of their impact. The cornerstone of Gregory County 4-H is Achievement Days, where 4-H'ers bring their best, showing cattle and other animals, sharing their creativity through photography, and baking, and so much more. This is the main event!

4-H will use the new buildings for meetings and events, as well as ongoing programming such as the always-popular Shooting Sports.
