Wide Open Spaces Foundation is proud to partner with the Burke Riding Club and Gregory County 4-H, two organizations with big dreams for our rodeo grounds. With their support, we’ve created WOS to steward this special piece of land, keeping it vibrant, welcoming, and full of possibility for generations to come.
We’re calling all dreamers and believers to join us.
We love rodeo
Burke Riding Club developed the grounds to be a family-friendly space for people to gather around the sport of rodeo. With the annual Burke Stampede Rodeo bringing 5,000 people into town every July, as well as great programming all summer long, we're known far and wide for putting on a great show.
4-H is in our DNA
The grounds are the permanent home to our local 4-H programs. Our goal is to build permanent structures that enable Gregory County 4-H to host shooting sports, ongoing meetings, and other public and private events in the space.
